City Manager
The City of Lake Worth Beach operates under a Commission-Manager form of government, under which the City Manager is appointed by the City Commission.
Jamie Brown has been employed with the city for over 13 years and was appointed Interim City Manager in December 2023. Mr. Brown serves as the chief administrative officer overseeing the day-to-day business operations of the city. The duties include implementation of policies set by the City Commission that contribute to the health, welfare and safety of the community. The City Manager prepares and oversees the annual budget and supervises the City's departments and employees.
