As part of this assessment, it is necessary to remove sections of the interior finishes in order to visually verify and measure important structural areas. While this phase of the assessment takes place, it will be necessary to temporarily close the building to the public as well as City staff not directly involved in the process. The closure will remain in effect until all necessary information has been acquired, at which time repairs will be made and the building reopened. This understandably inconvenient process is necessarily the first step on a long road to bring new life to this treasured piece of life in Lake Worth Beach.
