LAKE WORTH BEACH, Florida -- The City of Lake Worth Beach closed their beach and Casino Complex out of an abundance of caution in preparation for the effects of rain and wind from Hurricane Milton. All businesses and parking lots are closed, and no lifeguards are on duty.  In addition, because of the potential of high winds and heavy swells, the City of Lake Worth Beach closed the Lake Worth Beach Pier, also known as the William O. Lockhart Municipal Pier, on Monday, October 7. Once the inclement weather has subsided, staff will assess for any damage and reopen the pier when it is safe to do so.  --- Visit lakeworthbeachfl.gov for updates.  About Lake Worth Beach Lake Worth Beach is a dynamic coastal city located in Palm Beach County, Florida, known for its vibrant arts scene, historic charm, and beautiful coastline.
