The purpose of this study is to evaluate the condition of the beach complex, identify long-term needs, and develop practical, community-supported recommendations that will guide future investments in the beach, Casino building, pier, parking areas, and related public amenities.
This study follows a comprehensive and transparent process. City staff, planning professionals, and technical experts will review existing conditions, assess buildings and infrastructure, analyze costs, examine environmental and coastal-resilience factors, and gather input from residents, businesses, and stakeholders. Community engagement will play an important role to ensure the plan reflects the values and priorities of Lake Worth Beach.
At the end of the process, the study will produce a set of clear deliverables:
