The Lake Worth Beach City Library offers a wide range of in-person and digital services — from free Wi-Fi and printing to e-books, audiobooks, and hotspot lending. Visit us with your library card to access our full collection, technology resources, and community spaces.

Whether you need to print a document, borrow a laptop, check out an e-book, or explore our collection in person, the Lake Worth Beach City Library has you covered. A library card unlocks access to both our physical and digital resources.

Children's Services

The Children’s Section contains an outstanding collection of picture books, chapter books, readers, graphic novels, and non-fiction source books.  The space is a welcoming and safe area for children to explore and learn.

Story Time at the Lake Worth Beach City Library occurs every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from October to May. Be sure to check our Facebook page for upcoming dates, times, themes and other children's events!

Library visitors can connect to free Wi-Fi and print wirelessly from phones, tablets, or laptop computers. Scanning, faxing, and photocopying are also available as self-service options.

Printing — Black & white: $0.15/page. Color: $0.50/page. Self-service machines accept coins or up to $10 bills.

Scanning — $0.05 to USB, email, phone, or Google Drive. Scan to fax: $0.50. International fax: $1.00/page.

Photocopying — Black & white copies: $0.15/page.

Wireless printing from laptops is available via Apple laptops or Chromebooks. Library Chromebooks are available with a library card.

Library cardholders can use computers for up to 2 hours per day. Laptops are also available to borrow for in-library use. For quick tasks like printing or checking email, 15-minute guest computers are available without a library card.

Need internet access at home? The library lends portable Wi-Fi hotspots at no cost with your library card. Ask at the front desk to check one out — just keep it charged and connect using your device's Wi-Fi settings.

The library offers a large selection of current popular fiction, non-fiction, DVDs, audiobooks, and a family Spanish collection. Local and national news publications as well as popular magazines are also available.

Access thousands of e-books, e-audiobooks, movies, comics, magazines, and newspapers online with your library card. Many resources are available through apps or directly on the web.

The library houses an impressive collection of paintings by Sherman Winton and wood carvings by Samuel Schlappich, displayed in the newly renovated Florida Room. Tours are available by appointment.

The newly renovated library meeting room is available to rent for meetings and events. The room accommodates up to 50 people and includes a projector, screen, and podium.

  • Available Tuesday–Saturday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, in 2-hour blocks

  • Groups are limited to one meeting per month

  • Room size: 20 × 40 feet, handicap accessible

  • Kitchenette adjacent (refrigerator, warmer, sink)

  • Chairs and tables provided — group handles setup and breakdown

A completed application form is required. All requests are subject to room and staff availability.

Non-profit organizations should have a copy of their exemption certificate ready.

All books and media can be returned via the convenient book drop located near the front doors, or inside at the circulation desk.

Donations are not currently being accepted due to construction at the Annex.

You can also place donations in Lake Worth Little Free Libraries located around town.
